Suni was just a yearling when she and her mom were surrendered during the 2017 Open Door Shelter. Her mom is a nice sized Quarter Horse and we think Suni is following in her hooves. She was spoiled as a youngun and hah some dominance behavioral issues that needed to be worked out.

Robin Conner with Heart Horse Horsemanship

Heart Horse Horsemanship is a mother-daughter team of horsewomen, who use natural horsemanship as the basis for their training.   Robin Conner, mom, has been riding horses since the age of 5 and has 50 years of experience.  She earned a BS in Animal Science/Equine Science from the University of Georgia and has worked through the years in all areas of training from starting foundational training to the discipline
s of western, English, ranch, dressage,  polo, speed events, and thoroughbred fitting.  She began work with rescues over the last 12 years, when she relocated with her family to Mississippi.  Robin uses various natural horsemanship techniques that she’s learned, but is closely aligned to Clinton Anderson’s Method.   She offers training, lessons, evaluations, and clinics on a limited basis. Her daughter, Jillian Conner, has qualified consistently as one of the top 10 competitors at the District and State levels in all disciplines.  She continues to compete at local and state open shows and is also a current member of the Mississippi State Equestrian team. They are located in Grenada and Starkville, MS.
