Photos and video are required to help determine that your horse is sufficiently trained to ride or drive to be included in The Safe Horse Auction. The horse should be clean and well-groomed if possible because these photos and video will also be used in the on-line sale catalog and advertisements. Several short video segments will send easier than one long one. (If the video is too long to attach in an email, it is recommended that you post it to YouTube or some similar service and send us the link to the posted video.) Photos that are needed are conformation shots (show entire body including legs and feet) taken with no tack other than halter & lead: Full view from both sides, front and back. Riding videos should show all of the following: Horse being mounted and ridden off; being ridden at walk, trot & canter, and then transition back to walk (or walk/gaits/walk if a gaited horse); stop, back, stand, dismount. Additional photos of horse in motion, head shots, or being ridden....and video showing other special talents/training of the horse are welcomed for promotional purposes. Submit to TheSafeHorseProject@gmail.com
I will submit the required photos & video.
I am unable to provide photo and video and wish to arrange for Trainer Evaluation to determine training level and take photos/video.
Bid Acceptance Options: Bid Acceptance Form must be on file in the Sales Office no later than the conclusion of bidding (3 p.m.) on the day of the sale. If no Bid Acceptance Form is returned, the Sales Office will follow the Safe Horse Sales Policy as outlined on The Safe Horse Project website.
THIS IS A NO RESERVE, SEALED BID AUCTION. The standard minimum opening bid for horses will be $300 for horses, $150 for ponies, and $100 for minis & donkeys unless the Seller specifies a higher or lower opening bid. Careful consideration should be given to the opening bid level – too high might discourage bidding and result in no sale. The opening bid that you list should be the absolute lowest price that you will accept for this horse. Do you, as Seller, wish to alter the minimum opening bid on this horse?
